Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain

You will get to know the two main tourist attractions of Rio in one day. You will ride a train that travels up to the Christ the Redeemer statue – the real “post card” view of Rio. After a pause for lunch, you will see the most incredible views of the city as your host takes you to the top Sugarloaf Mountain in a cable car.

Historical Center and Lapa

You will tour the historic district of Rio accompanied by your host, starting in Cinelandia. You will get to know the history and fun facts about the City Theater, National Library, Museum of Fine Arts, and City Council. Following that, your host will take you to the Seleron Stairway, which has become a landmark in Rio and an ideal photo opportunity. In the early evening, it will be time to enjoy the area of bohemian Rio – Lapa. There are numerous bars, shows, and exciting people everywhere. Your host, who knows the area well, will take you to the best places.

Day Trip to the Historic District and Colombo Bakery

Your host will take you exploring through the center of Rio, starting in the famous open air market called Saara (Sahara). In this exotic shopping area, you will find different articles of interest, such as electronics, clothing, and a variety of foods and souvenirs from the city – great to give to friends and family. After shopping, we will continue with a historic tour of the center of Rio. Travelling along Rio Branco Avenue, one of the principal and oldest streets in the city, you will be invited to learn the history of the City Theater, National Library, Museum of Fine Arts, and the City Council. After all of that, it will be time to taste a little bit of that history at the Colombo Bakery.

Tijuca Forest

Your host will not just show you the beaches of Rio de Janeiro. The city has hidden, within its numerous contrasts, the largest urban rain forest preserved in the world. The day promises a lot of emotion, with a guided tour that passes through the Taunay waterfall, the visitor center, and an old restaurant. You will also get to know the Panther Cove, Bat Grotto, and a refreshing shower in the Waterfall of Souls. After this busy adventure, we have prepared an ecological picnic for you to get you in the spirit of nature. To add to your day, you can choose between a guided trail tour to the Parrot’s Beak – and for the really courageous, rappelling that will take your breath away.
